About the Event

Monday through Friday we will explore, create, and connect while we are in the beautiful outdoors! At summer camp at Primitive Instincts YNP, we will have so much fun with games, art, free exploration, and learning about the fascinating world of nature. This includes natural sciences, as well as awareness, primitive, and survival skills. Every Friday is dedicated to practice archery and explore art. There is also an awesome saltwater pool for us to cool off in every sunny afternoon!

Texas and its Wildlife Week will allow kids to get to know Central Texas more, including the environment, climate, soil, and rocks, as well as we'll explore its wildlife that thrive in it. During the week, we will check out and compare scats and tracks, feel pelts of Texas' wildlife, discuss different habitats, look for evidence of wildlife during hikes, discuss wildlife hazards including venomous snakes, learn about the rocks…
