DONE - Snake Education Course

Whether you are a true snake lover or if you think you could increase your appreciation for snakes, we want you to come join us for our Snake Education Course. Snake of Hays County will be doing a two-hour presentation on native snakes found in the local Hays County area, from 5PM-7PM. You may arrive beginning at 4:30PM to snag a good spot for the presentation. During this awesome family-friendly event, we will review identifying factors of snake species and go over the myths versus facts of those snakes. Come experience and better understand over 12 native snake species! 

Following the presentation, there will be opportunities for handling and picture-taking. Any questions you may still have will also be answered during this time. As the sun goes down, Ms. Cat will take everyone on a short nature hike and show the group what's going on in the land!

All ages are welcome to attend, but please keep in mind there will be a speaking presentation, as well as live animals. No refunds. Event will occur, rain or shine. 30 people maximum. $26 per person, no taxes or added fees.

*Snakes of Hays County will have great snake handling equipment for purchase, made by Animal Equipment by Stoney. The tools available for purchase include tongs, hooks, and snake buckets with screw-on lids. Payment will be accepted on-site using Paypal or cash.*

- Comfortable Shoes (if attending the nature hike after the presentation)
