DONE - Fire Day

Our ancestors knew the power of fire, respected it, and cherished its ability to take care of them. On Fire Day, at Primitve Instincts YNP, we will learn all about fire, how to build our own fire using only natural materials, and the best techniques. We will build a fire together, then everyone will break out in small groups to complete a fire challenge. You will also have a chance to try your hands at friction fire, including bow drill fire. We will enjoy lunch by our fire, so make sure to bring something you can roast on the fire! After lunch, we will discuss using the coals from the fire for more than just cooking, as well as make a delicious fire cider together. This event will be perfect for the winter season and should be so much fun, you don't want to miss it! 

Note**: 1 Ticket covers one adult AND one child. If bringing more than one child, it is an additional $10 per. If there will be more than one adult in attendance, simply purchase additional regular tickets. 

What to bring:

- Water bottle

- Lunch 

- A plastic jar or container to bring some of the fire cider home with you. 

- Weather appropriate clothing

- Comfortable closed-toe shoes
